Chapter 13
After reading the textbook, I felt the notion of campaign is wider than advertising, and more comprehensive. That is why it is hard to implement campaign appropriately. I learned there are some processes to realize it. One of the processes is called AIDA, which indicates Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. It is important how you would prepare before taking action. By doing this, you can smaller the risk of failure and make the things efficiently.
There are so many types of marketing today. Some
marketing would be direct ones such as mail, visiting or receipt. On the other
hand, others would be indirect like social media marketing including ads in
apps, online order services and so on. You will need to more focus on social
media marketing because it is the era of technology and such marketing will
cost less than physical one.
I think imitating some companies’ marketing will be
good idea. However, you also need uniqueness. By differentiating from other
companies, you may be able to make more profit. You have a lot of limited
resources such as time, money and people. To efficiently use the sources, you
have to make the right decision.
I was happy to learn a lot about campaign in this
chapter.
